The art of co-operation
by Benjamin Creme’s Master
More and more, men are beginning to understand the severity of the problems which face them today. On all fronts — political, economic and social, these problems multiply and cause much heartache and sad shaking of heads. Add to these the environmental problems which man’s cavalier attitude to nature and its resources has engendered, and the future for mankind looks bleaker still. The realization is dawning that mankind’s life is in crisis and that something radical must be done before it is too late.
What, indeed, can man do to save himself from disaster? What steps can he take even to mitigate the threat to his well-being?
The answer is relatively simple but, it would seem, difficult for men to grasp, caught, as they are, in the net of their own conditioning.
Men must release themselves from the poison of competition, must realize it for the glamour which it is, and, seeing the Oneness of all men, embrace co-operation for the General Good. Only co-operation and justice will save men from a disaster of their own making; co-operation and justice alone will guarantee their future. Considering that this is so, man has little option but to accept co-operation as the key to his salvation.
When men co-operate rather than compete, they will find a magic potion entering their lives. The ease with which long-lasting problems will be solved will astonish, the impossible will yield to the lightest touch, and, through co-operation alone, men will learn the true art of living. Thus will it be, and thus will men learn to appreciate the beauty of relationship which only co-operation can bestow. Through co-operation the new civilization will be built, the new science revealed, the new understanding manifested. Thus will men grow together in the discovery of their divinity. Thus will they know the joy and happiness of such togetherness.
The Masters, your Elder Brothers, are not strangers to co-operation. In all that They do, co-operation plays a central role. It could not be otherwise in the manifested Brotherhood where the canker of competition is unknown.
It is Our earnest desire that men learn the art of co-operation, and to this end shall We act as mentors, teaching through example. So liberating is co-operation it is surprising, is it not, that men have been so tardy in learning its joys.
The era of competition is fast coming to an end. With its demise, violence and war, starvation amid plenty, greed and separation, will likewise fade from the memory. To replace these sorrows will emerge blessed co-operation, to guarantee to men their essential divinity. Thus will it be and thus will men come to understand another facet in the nature of God.

[The words ‘men’ and ‘man’ are used throughout the Master’s articles as general terms meaning humankind.]

Share International Magazine
This month in Share International
In his article on ‘The art of co-operation’ Benjamin Creme’s Master asks: “What can man do to save himself from disaster?” He, Maitreya, Benjamin Creme and many others, such as John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Jeffrey Sachs, have provided and are providing advice on how humanity can free itself from the toxicity of competition which stems from the sense of separation. While people of the future experience or long for unity, the world in general has internalized and has inculcated the exact opposite – that not only are we separate but only our tribe, our people, our religion, our colour matters. This ‘logic’ is insane; it means that anyone other than our tribe must be exterminated. We are witnesses to the attempt to obliterate ‘the other’. The word ‘extermination’ has terrible connotations and implications. ‘Logically’ it will not stop with the murder and annihilation of Palestinians; where is the next target? Will the people of the United States and the world allow the genocide to continue? Will Europe stand by and let politicians and arms manufacturers continue to amass profits from ethnic cleansing?
This issue of Share International reflects the somber character of this moment in history; we invoke the ghost of John Fitzgerald Kennedy to recall great leadership in times of crisis and wise words about the importance of trust and goodwill on the path to peace. We consider the military industrial complex that has our politicians on puppeteers’ strings; we remember the war on truth and the extraordinary courage of journalists dying to report on the atrocious facts of the Israeli pogrom – the murder and starvation of children, the elderly, the handicapped – indeed of all Palestinians, and of our humanity.
The September issue offers more than the horror of these times but we present it as a mournful call to the hearts and minds of all who can respond, believing as we do that “Only co-operation and justice will save men from a disaster of their own making; co-operation and justice alone will guarantee their future.” Along with those who long for a just and sane world, we add our small voice to the millions demanding and begging that ‘co-operation be accepted as the key to our salvation’. — Felicity Eliot, Editor

Maitreya’s Priorities
In Yorkshire, England, a re-wilding initiative has planted 300,000 native trees, restoring 'ghost woodlands' lost to extensive grazing. The project, a collaboration between farmers, the Woodland Trust, and ecologists, has led to increased biodiversity, including a rise in breeding bird species. Funded through government agri-environment payments, it demonstrates the potential for farming and conservation to coexist.
California tribes expand marine stewardship across coastal waters. In a growing model of Indigenous-led conservation, 18 California tribes now manage marine and coastal areas through Tribal Marine Stewards Networks. Spanning 5,800 km², the initiative combines traditional ecological knowledge with modern science to monitor ecosystems, restore habitats, and engage communities, marking a systemic shift in coastal stewardship.
Colombia reports 33% decrease in deforestation in early 2025. The decline is attributed to improved community coordination and stricter enforcement against environmental crimes.

The magic of co-operation

“The spiritual crisis of humanity, (not knowing the meaning and purpose of our lives), is focused today through the political, and especially the economic, fields and can only be resolved there. That means that the soul aspect, the spiritual aspect, has to be given expression. We have to see what we are doing and change it. Humanity has to change or die. This is what my Master spells out so clearly: ‘Co-operation is another word for Unity. Unity and co-operation are the springboards to the future and the guarantee of achievement for all men. Great reservoirs of power lie untapped within humanity waiting for the magic of co-operation to unleash.’”

— Benjamin Creme, The Art of Cooperation

Online event “The Spiritual Mission of the Space People” – Southwest Region
Members of the Southwest region recently used the Zoom platform to host an online presentation titled, "The Spiritual Mission of the Space People". As with every UFO themed outreach, the goal was to illustrate the altruistic nature of extraterrestrial visitors while directly connecting their work and teachings to the emergence of the World Teacher here on our planet. The teachings of those spiritually advanced representatives from other planets – as given through credible contactees such as George Adamski in the 1950’s and Adrian Beers in the 1960’s – align very nicely with the teachings of Maitreya when it comes to inner knowledge, the laws of life, and restructuring our global economic system to meet the needs of all.
Other topics covered, using an image-filled PowerPoint presentation, included the “star luminary” heralding Maitreya’s entrance; light patterns, continually seen around the world, also connected with Maitreya; crop circles and the coming Technology of Light; miraculous crosses of light also created by Maitreya, showcasing our own Hierarchy’s efforts to create a sense of wonder and hope; nuclear fission, the “invisible peril”; and the etheric planes of matter as it relates to both nuclear radiation and the natural state of spacecraft and their occupants.
The panel format discussion, consisting of four volunteers, allowed for different voices to be heard as well as a more informal exchange of ideas. A few of the 15 total attendees asked questions via the chat window. Before the meeting ended, one person said he had already purchased the book, The Gathering of the Forces of Light, by Benjamin Creme. Overall, the group had a fun time and feels like it was a worthwhile effort.
Co-worker’s article published in EnvironBuzz
EnvironBuzz Magazine, a Canadian-based environmental and sustainability news hub, is now accepting articles from co-worker Cher Gilmore. One recently published on the dangers of nuclear radiation includes information about Maitreya and the Space Brothers’ concerns. Read it here.
Remembering Tony: A life well lived

One of Share International’s longest serving volunteers, Tony Townsend, made his transition on August 18, 2025. Tony began his work for the Reappearance of Maitreya in 1980. As one of the original Tara Center volunteers, he carried bundles of original newsletters to Santa Barbara to be sent out under Bishop Warren Waters’ bulk mail permit. But other workers quickly realized Tony possessed many more skills. One of the original founders of Tara Center, Mona LaVine, quickly set about finding him more jobs. Over the years Tony was a dedicated worker taking on many jobs at Tara Center and Share International. He was a computer programmer, creating the original database for the mailing list and did a host of other computer jobs. He also worked in invoicing and shipping. And he was a contributor and editor of an earlier iteration of the Share International USA newsletter for a number of years. He continued to work on the quarterly print newsletter up until his passing.

An all-around talented soul, Tony was also an accomplished musician, traveling far and wide over 45 years entertaining and weaving in the Reappearance message whenever he had the opportunity. For years, he introduced Benjamin Creme's Los Angeles lectures with songs he created by putting Maitreya's words to music. And for many years he toted his guitar to the yearly San Francisco Transmission Meditation Conference to play with, and for, grateful co-workers.

He is known throughout our network in one or more of these capacities and was loved for his music, his insightful articles, clever humor, all-around good nature, for being a committed co-worker and for being a friend to many. God speed, brother!

Here is a recording of Tony's songs where he set the words of Maitreya’s messages to his original music. This recording is from when he was a guest on Planetary MakeOver.

Transmission Meditation
Co-operation with the Masters

“The Masters are anxious to develop a closer rapport, a working relationship, with the disciples of the world. As They emerge, Their hope is that They will not remain too far distant from the working disciples and will be able to work in the closest conscious co-operation with them. Of course it will take time to develop that close relationship. Transmission Meditation has been given as a starting point for this to take place. It brings a man or woman from simple relation to their own soul, to the creation, through group Transmission, of a group soul through which the Masters can work.

— Benjamin Creme, Transmission: A Meditation for the New Age

Hope
The kind of hope I often think about (especially in situations that are particularly hopeless, such as prison) I understand above all as a state of mind, not a state of the world. Either we have hope within us or we don’t; it is a dimension of the soul; it’s not essentially dependent on some particular observation of the world or estimate of the situation.
“Hope is a not prognostication. It is an orientation of the spirit, an orientation of the heart; it transcends the world that is immediately experienced, and is anchored somewhere beyond its horizons. Hope, in this deep and powerful sense, is not the same as joy that things are going well, or willingness to invest in enterprises that are obviously headed for early success, but, rather, an ability to work for something because it is good, not just because it stands a chance to succeed.” – Vaclav Havel
Robert Reich, former US Secretary of Labor, describes this extraordinary man: “I think of Vaclav Havel, former president of the Czech Republic, whom I met in 2003 in Prague. What struck me about him was a warmth and optimism that radiated outward. When we walked into a small restaurant, all the diners stood and applauded, and sang. Havel had become politically active as poet, playwright, and dissident after the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 – which put him under the surveillance of the secret police. He was repeatedly jailed, the longest from 1979 to 1983. (In 1989, his Civic Forum party played a major part in the Velvet Revolution that ended Soviet dominance, and he was elected president shortly thereafter.) While in jail, Havel wrote the above that seems particularly relevant for us in these very dark times.”
We encourage you to share this newsletter far and wide and offer others the opportunity to know of the help offered to humanity now. Also read and share previous issues.
