| Justice is Divine |
| by Benjamin Creme’s Master |
| Justine is divine. Longed for by millions bereft of its sacred balance, justice brings to the world of men the harmony of God. As a looking-glass reflects the image of man, so does justice reflect the nature of the divine. The measure of the lawlessness of the time is known by the degree of injustice in the world, and today, injustice stalks the poor on every hand. |
| Legally, justice rules the field of social regulation, of crime and punishment, but fundamentally justice has to do with the laws of God, which work towards harmony and correct relationship. Every injustice, however small, brings disharmony to the whole. Today, so great are the areas of injustice in every land that extraordinary measures are required to prevent total chaos. |
| Injustice is a denial of man’s divine potential; it separates man from man and humanity from God. Throughout the world, many are struggling to free themselves from age-long injustice, exploitation and tyranny; to set down at last the yoke carried by their forebears. We, the watching Hierarchy, commend their struggle, for We see it as the expression of the Divine Spark in all men, yearning for freedom and justice. We give them Our Hand as We gaze with compassion on their plight. |
| There are those who would deny that all men have equal rights to a share of God’s providence. Those who argue thus have listened only to the voice of the separated self, forgetting that naught that they have and hold but comes to them from God. When men take heed of the voice of God within them they find in sharing and justice the only answer to man’s ills. |
| Today, more and more, that voice of the inner God is being heard. On all sides are arising spokesmen for the dispossessed. The clamour for justice is growing and soon will swell into a crescendo of sound, drowning out the cries for caution which issue from the representatives of the past. |
| How can there be two worlds when the world is One? How can there be division when the law is the same for all men? Presently, men will understand that the suffering of the many is the illness of the whole, and that justice alone will provide the cure. |
| Aid provides but half the answer, though aid is essential now. Justice must blossom fully in the garden of men’s hearts and so set all men free. |
| Justice creates the conditions in which man can know himself as God. Linked to his brother by love, he can take boldly in his hands his future and fashion it according to the blueprint of God. Many desire that future now, blessed as they are with the vision of the whole, yet naught but work and effort will bring it into being, through the manifestation of justice, love and joy. |
| Remember as you move towards the future that no one takes these steps alone. As brothers, all, must men proceed along the pathway that leads directly to the Source. From that very Source does justice emanate, relating men in harmony and love. |

In this issue we have gathered a group of inspired and inspiring people … We quote from their wise and brave words, their rallying calls to our humanity, to our shared heart and hopes. “How can there be two worlds when the world is One? How can there be division when the law is the same for all men?” – Benjamin Creme’s Master

“We must not cling on to what was, but shape what must be.” – Al Hussein (Former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights)
“It is important to take action and realize that we can make a difference, and this will encourage others to take action, and then we realize we are not alone, and our cumulative actions truly make an even greater difference.” – Jane Goodall, primatologist, conservationist, humanitarian, UN Messenger of Peace. [Read Dr. Goodall’s final words given to the new Netflix documentary project “Famous Last Words” shortly before her passing.]
“I urge everyone to join the global uprising for justice, freedom and equality, and to apply real pressure on our governments and institutions to fulfil their legal obligations to ensure human rights for everyone.” – Greta Thunberg, climate activist and human rights champion
“When we lack truth and we lack trust, law becomes theatre. News becomes spectacle. And science becomes just another opinion.” – Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados
“Fear prevents action and if you have the conviction that all will be well you can work free from the fear which inhibits your action. It does not mean that you don’t have to act at all, on the contrary. The more you have trust and are free from fear, the more useful and large in scope can be your action.” – Benjamin Creme
“Time and time again ordinary people do amazing things to make their communities better ... Hope has got to be our guiding light to a better tomorrow.” – Nick Lowles, founder of Hope not Hate
“Presently, men will understand that the suffering of the many is the illness of the whole, and that justice alone will provide the cure.” – Benjamin Creme’s Master

America speaks …
On October 18 some seven million Americans, in over 2,700 locations, along with countless others throughout the world, took to the streets for ‘No Kings Day.’ This was the second multi-million-person demonstration in the US this year. Although it was in response to political actions taken by the new US administration, the real-world consequences of these actions are negatively impacting the human rights we have come to associate with Maitreya’s priorities: peace above all, which can only come about through Justice created by Sharing, guaranteed basic necessities for everyone, and restoration of our ailing planet. These actions are not only affecting US citizens, but people everywhere, as well as the planet.
Although we don’t yet know if, how, or to what extent the demonstrations will produce the desired changes, it’s useful to keep in mind the Tibetan’s words on the subject of public opinion:
“Focussed, determined, enlightened public opinion is the most potent force in the world. It has no equal, but has been little used. The gullibility of the average citizen, his willingness to accept what is told him if it is said loudly enough and with sufficient plausible force, is well known. … But this negative receptivity can be as easily turned to good end as bad. A little planned direction and a wisely outlined programme with this in view can and will bring about the needed change and make a sound and intelligent public opinion one of the major factors in world reconstruction.” —The Externalisation of the Hierarchy (p. 349)
| The need for Justice |
“Help Me, My brothers and sisters, in My Task, and inform all you know that the need for Justice is paramount in our lives. The lack of this alone separates man from man and threatens mankind itself. Know this, My friends and brothers, and know that the Light will triumph.” (Message No. 126)

In this section we highlight our work both digitally and “on the ground.” Many of our online offerings – whether programs to listen to or articles to read – are especially well-suited for introducing new people to Maitreya, the Ageless Wisdom teachings, Transmission Meditation, and current world events. As you listen or read, consider who you might share each piece with, perhaps along with a brief personal note.

Mind Body Spirit Holistic Expo – Cumming, GA
In October, the Mind Body Spirit Holistic Expo in Cumming, GA attracted mostly young people. Many stopped at the Atlanta Group's booth to learn about Maitreya, the Masters of Wisdom, and Transmission Meditation. This particular expo was an opportunity to connect with other like-minded groups like the Atlanta Pyramid Meditation Group. We were invited to give a 30-minute talk introducing Transmission Meditation which was well received. We agreed to participate with some of the groups on December 21st for the United Nations World Meditation Day. –DD

SoulSearch Enlightenment Expo – Burlingame, CA
On October 18-19, the Northwest region participated in the SoulSearch Enlightenment Expo near the San Francisco airport in Burlingame. In our talk, we introduced Benjamin Creme and the emergence of Maitreya, read selections from Maitreya’s Messages, and demonstrated Transmission Meditation.
The first day at the booth was a little slow — perhaps we competed with “No Kings” marches — but the second day we had many visitors at the booth. The mini-scrolls of Maitreya’s messages again helped us “break the ice” and we distributed well over 100 of the scrolls. Also, ten people signed up to receive more info. We had long and satisfying conversations with several booth visitors in their mid-20s who were definitely interested in learning more. A curiously interesting event: Maitreya’s small handprint was “hot” when a woman picked it up.
It is a unique benefit (comparing with other expos) that SoulSearch introduces the speakers and streams live all the expo talks on their YouTube channel. Also, we were pleased to see on a poster near the registration desk that co-worker Michiko Ishikawa’s picture appeared prominently on top with others who had SoulSearch TV videos. –MS

Transmission Meditation
Q&A with Benjamin Creme
Q. How can I get rid of negativities in my life so more light can come in?
A. There is no finer way to get rid of negativity than to serve, to use the light coming in. As you serve, you begin to identify with what you serve, so you begin a process of becoming decentralized. As you become more decentralized, less egotistical, less the central point in your life, you become more objective, broader in view, increasingly identified with all that is. … As you do this you expand your identity – not just your intellectual awareness, but your heart identity – until there is no sense of separation, until you and the cosmos are one. Then you are perfect, as the Masters are perfect.
– Benjamin Creme, Transmission – A Meditation for the New Age

“The material goal which all who love their fellowmen and serve the Hierarchy must ever have in mind and at heart is the defeat of totalitarianism. I do not say the defeat of Communism, but the defeat of that evil process which involves the imposition of ideas, and which can be the method of the democratic nations and of the churches everywhere, just as much as it is the method of the U.S.S.R. This we call totalitarianism. I would ask you to have this distinction clearly in your minds. Your material goal is the defeat of all that infringes human free will and which keeps humanity in ignorance; it applies equally to any established system — Catholic or Protestant — which imposes its concepts and its will upon its adherents. Totalitarianism is the basis of evil today: it is found in all systems of government, of education; it is found in the home and in the community. I refer not here to the laws which make group relations sound, possible and right; such laws are essential to community and national well-being and are not totalitarian in nature. I refer to the imposition of the will of the few upon the total mass of the people. The defeat of this undesirable tendency everywhere is your definite material goal.”
