Maitreya's promise
by Benjamin Creme’s Master
While many people continue to believe that the present banking and stock exchange systems are necessary and unalterable, more and more are coming to the conclusion that they have passed their usefulness and must soon be replaced. Too many are suffering from the effects of unfettered greed and yearn for greater justice and fairness in order to survive what is so glibly called ‘the current economic climate’. Before the economic collapse of 2008, at least in the developed world, there was plenty of money. People had work and houses to live in; new millionaires were born every day. Elsewhere, of course, millions still starved and millions more went hungry, but for some there was plenty of money and life felt good.
Where has all the money gone? What has happened to it? Now, no one has work and the money has disappeared – into the banks and disappeared. And the millionaires are now billionaires. It is all very puzzling. A conjuring, a confidence trick, you would think, has been played on half the world. Will the old ways, the old time, return? Do we really want them to return with the wealth of the rich doubling daily and the poor picking up the coppers they let fall?
The people everywhere are sensing a change and are lending their voices to its call. They are sensing, too, their power to act, and many die to prove it. They sense that the old ways are almost over and have spent their force. They feel that there are other, better ways to live, and look forward to tomorrow. Verily, the old ways are dying and hold back the race. The wheel turns and mighty Rome is falling once again. Maitreya’s fire is lit in the hearts of countless millions and they respond, eager to build a new world where justice and harmony rule. Maitreya’s promise is that this new world is on its way.

The Inner Life of Krishnamurti:
private passion and perennial wisdom
by Aryel Sanat
Excerpts from a book review by Phyllis Creme:
This book about Krishnamurti (1895-1986) is long and complex but its central importance is that, unlike much writing about and by Krishnamurti, it convincingly and in detail explores the role of the Masters of Wisdom in his life.…Sanat’s work about the role of the Masters in Krishnamurti’s life throws a different light on the man who many in the West have accepted as a great and illuminating teacher. Krishnamurti (K) himself played down (at least publicly) the role of the Masters because it was counter to his teaching that refuted any reliance on authority. He spoke against the idea of teachers or gurus of any kind – not so much necessarily to deny the Masters’ existence but to stress its irrelevance to each individual’s self-reliance; the aim is always self-discovery along with self-forgetfulness, or, as K put it, “dying to the known”.…
Sanat establishes the reality of Maitreya, Gautama Buddha and other Masters, and traces their important part in Krishnamurti’s evolving life – not as hallucinations or ‘visions’ as some commentators have averred. He quotes Madame Blavatsky: “[The Masters] are living men … We call them Masters because they are our teachers and because from them we have derived all the theosophical truths however inadequately some of us may have expressed and others understood them. They are men of great learning whom we term initiates, and still greater holiness of life….”
The Masters were responsible for Krishnamurti’s development – culminating in the gruelling, initiatory ‘process’, as K himself called it. The Masters were real, physical beings who brought in spiritual energies through K. In chapter 2, ‘A new perspective’, Sanat demonstrates the relevance of the perennial wisdom teachings to the discoveries of modern physics, in particular the notion of ‘subtle energies’. Modern esotericism talks in terms of ‘energies’ that are counter to what most people in the West believe. However, those who practise Transmission Meditation are very aware of the energies sent from the Masters.
A demonstration of the presence and influence of the Masters and Maitreya in K’s life is clear from his account to a small number of associates in 1910: “When I left my body … I went at once to the Master KH’s house and found him there with the Master Morya and the Master Djwhal Khul…. Then we all went together to the house of the Lord Maitreya and there we found many of the Masters….” (p140).
In 1924, Sanat recounts, while K was staying in Italy, and when he was undergoing his painful initiatory ‘process’, he gave a message from Maitreya to his close associates in “a style totally different from his own manner of speaking”: “Do not look for the Great Ones when they may be very near you. You are like the blind man who seeks sunshine. Learn to serve Me, for along that path alone will you find me. Forget yourself for then only am I to be found. You are like the hungry man who is offered food and will not eat. The happiness you seek is not far off; it lies in every common stone. I am there if you will only see. I am the Helper if you will let Me help”.
Sanat believes that Krishnamurti maybe “considered the esoteric too serious to discuss publicly”, for the study of the esoteric should not be simply academic but a living experience of transformation. However, we might wish that in the later part of his life K had been more open with his audiences – maybe more people would now accept the reality of the Masters of Wisdom and Maitreya. Maitreya’s Priorities
Three countries have already eliminated a disease in 2025
Niger just became the first African country to eliminate river blindness, a tropical disease that once afflicted 8.5 million people in the country, Georgia has become the 46th country worldwide to eliminate malaria, bringing Europe close to becoming the world's first malaria free region, and Guinea has eliminated sleeping sickness, joining 15 other African countries that have achieved this milestone.
America's radical experiment in emptying youth prisons worked
In 2000, over 100,000 young Americans were locked up in juvenile detention facilities. By 2022, that number had plummeted by 75%, with 29 states experiencing even greater declines. The reduction came alongside major drops in youth crime – arrests for serious violent crimes by juveniles have fallen 78% from their peak in the 90s. [New York Times]
DRC to create Earth's largest protected rainforest
The Democratic Republic of Congo has established one of the world's largest protected areas by ministerial decree – a 540,000 km² green corridor safeguarding Earth's largest tropical carbon sink. The initiative combines conservation with sustainable development, aiming to create half a million jobs while protecting the world's largest intact rainforest. [Greenpeace]
FDA approves first non-addictive pain drug that matches opioids
Journavx is the first pain medication that works as effectively as opioids without addiction risks. The drug blocks pain signals before they reach the brain, showing strong results in two large trials with 2,000 surgery patients. The breakthrough provides a new option for treating acute pain from surgery and injuries. [New York Times]

Change begins within
Maitreya has said: 'My coming means change. The greatest change will be in the hearts and minds of men.' This is the essence of the New Age. It is, of course, about the construction of a new civilization, about new political, economic, religious and social structures, about living together in harmony, in peace, on a world scale for the first time: no longer having millions of people starving to death in a world of plenty; no longer having countless poor in the world…. The change of consciousness which is taking place is even more profound than any outer changes in the world might suggest.

Body Mind Spirit Expo - Raleigh, NC
The Body Mind Spirit Expo in Raleigh welcomed a large audience this year. The Share International booth attracted a steady stream of visitors, with meditation being a key area of interest. While traffic at the booth was steady, encouraging people to share contact information proves to be a growing challenge. One of the standout moments was our presentation on the Space Brothers, which drew a significant audience despite its late Sunday afternoon time slot. The topic sparked curiosity, particularly among younger attendees, some of whom came to the booth after the presentation to continue the discussion. Their interest in the nature of invisible, etheric matter – recognized in modern science as dark matter – led to deeper conversations.

Spirit of Peace: A Cosmic Force of Love

The second energy which the Christ distributes is that of the Spirit of Peace or Equilibrium. This is a great Cosmic Being embodying the energy of love at a cosmic level. He overshadows the Christ, Maitreya, in a way similar to the Christ’s overshadowing of the Master Jesus in Palestine. He works very closely with the Law of Action and Reaction. The effect of His work in the world is to transform and transmute the prevalent hatred, violence and discord into their exact opposites, so that we shall enter an era of peace, tranquillity and emotional and mental poise, balanced in exact proportion to the present chaos. That is the effect of the energy of this great Avatar of Peace.

Signs of hope and spiritual protection
In the wake of the devastating fires in the Los Angeles area, Paramahansa Yogananda’s Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades escaped any significant damage though it was surrounded by an inferno. A public restroom was destroyed, but the museum a few steps away was untouched, as were the temple and all the other historical structures around the lake and the beautifully manicured grounds.
In Pasadena and Altadena, the Eaton fire destroyed thousands of structures and burned more than 14,000 acres, including the Jewish synagogue. The only thing that remained was an etched mural depicting Semitic men and women walking in the desert with animals. In the center is a single palm tree – the symbol of triumph in the Bible. The mural had been hidden by a brick wall covering it, and the fire removed the stucco and sheet rock, leaving the mural undamaged. The mural is the only thing left in the entire area.
