by Benjamin Creme
Benjamin Creme (1922-2016), British artist,
author and esotericist, was the founding editor
of Share International. His telepathic contact
with a Master of Wisdom allowed him to receive
up-to-date information on Maitreya’s
emergence and to expand on the Ageless
Wisdom Teachings.
The Master — is a senior member of the Hier-
archy of the Masters of Wisdom; His name,
well-known in esoteric circles, is not yet being
revealed for various reasons. Benjamin Creme
had a constant telepathic contact with this
Master Who dictated His articles to him.
Dominique Abdelnour is a Share Inter-
national co-worker living in Rueil-Malmaison,
France.
Jessica Corbett is a staff writer for Common
Dreams.

The picture reproduced on the cover is ‘Vision’
by Benjamin Creme, 1961. Inspired by writings of
Vincent van Gogh, Benjamin Creme envisioned
the art of the future as depicted in this painting. In
the centre is the inner spiritual fire of Cosmos
embodied by the Cosmic Egg, above an altar shape
– as if presenting itself to humanity through some
agency, perhaps of religion but in this case through
art.

In the November 2021 Share International
When young people’s voices challenge the world’s leaders
and their words echo so closely those of Maitreya, the
World Teacher, surely our hearts must be touched? When
religious leaders of every denomination join with
scientists, surely our common sense must nudge us out of
complacency? When the UN Secretary-General warns that
“humanity faces a stark and urgent choice: a breakdown
or a breakthrough”, surely it is time to wake up and pay
heed?
Read these calls to reason in some of this month’s
articles.
Quite extraordinarily, although it was written in 2005,
“The beginning of the new time” by Benjamin Creme’s
Master reads as if it were an exposé of the Pandora
Papers. He describes the vested interests which keep our
world locked into systemic injustice: “At the moment, 80
per cent of the world’s wealth is owned by a small number
of families and institutions. Much of that wealth is static,
invested in estates, ships, gold, jewels and works of art,
benefiting thereby but few.”
He goes on to describe how Maitreya will “raise the
consciousness of men and help them to understand the
reasons for their plight. He will show that such imbalance
is insupportable in a world so interdependent and facing so
many perilous problems.”
In this month’s articles we hear the many voices
calling for change, urging us to take action and we read of
another fearless young person who listened to her ‘voices’
– Joan of Arc. What an amazing life, impelled by faith and
a total lack of fear. In many countries now, we see
freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate and to
make our voices heard being curtailed; Graham Peebles
examines how the media is faring as repression grows.
The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to two journalists to
underscore that a free and factual media is essential in a
democracy. Another voice urging us to wake up to how far
out of balance our planet is can be heard in Pauline
Welch’s “No hiding place from climate change”.
In his inimitable style, Benjamin Creme provided
expansive and insightful answers to interview questions,
and again, it’s as if he too were talking about today’s
world.
This collection of articles and reports represents Share
International’s unique voice as we near the end of 2021,
when the idea of sharing is being heard and seen to be
taking hold in the minds of many.
